Silent alert
To avoid being disturbed by the ring-
er, you can activate the silent alert in-
stead. It can also be active in addi-
tion to the ringer (e.g. in noisy
environments). The silent alert is de-
activated when the battery is being
recharged.
Call screening
Only calls from numbers that are in
the Phonebook/Addressbook are
signalled audibly or by the silent
alert. Other calls are merely dis-
played.
If you do not accept these calls, they
are diverted to your mailbox (if set,
p. 44).

Info tones
Activate/deactivate all service tones
and alarm tones or use Extended to
activate/deactivate tones on switch-
ing on/off the phone, scrolling in
menus over a wrap-around line or
when doing deletion.
Key tones

Minute beep
During a call you hear a beep after
each minute as a reminder of the
time elapsed.
