Warming
The warming function is available on all elements.
Use the warming function to melt chocolate and butter, to keep cooked food warm
or to warm plates. The warming function cannot be used with plastic plates or
containers.

Touch the symbol O for the desired element.

Touch the symbol v within the next 5 seconds. When an L flashes in the
display, the warming function is turned on.
Touch the symbol O for the desired element. 0 flashes in the display. After five
seconds, the element turns off.
Timer
The timer can be used in two different ways:
- as a timed cooking mode
- as a cooking timer
In this mode the element will switch off automatically when the set time has elapsed.
Never leave the cooktop unattended when in use.
The element must be turned on.
Press the j symbol repeatedly until the 1 display for the desired element begins
to flash. 00 flashes in the timer display.
Slide your finger over the slider panel. Repeat until you reach the desired time.
Once the cooking time has elapsed, the element turns off. A 0 lights up in the
temperature settings display. The timer beeps. 00 flashes in the timer display.
Touch the j symbol repeatedly until the desired display 1 flashes. Reset the time.
Touch the j symbol repeatedly until the desired display 1 flashes. Touch key 0.
If you want to view the remaining cooking time for an element: Touch the j symbol
repeatedly until display 1 for the desired element flashes. The cooking time is
displayed for 5 seconds.
The automatic shut off also applies to the timer function. See section, Automatic
shut off" for more information.
After a power outage, this function is cancelled. The mode must be reset.
