RECORDING USING AN EXTERNAL TIMER
INPUT
Recording can be controlled by an external start/stop
signal input at the EXT TIMER IN terminal.
While there is input at the EXT TIMER IN terminal, the
external input indicator “E” will light on the digital display
and the input will be recorded. Recording will stop when
there are no more input signals.
Example 3:
To record using the signal input at the
EXT TIMER IN terminal, in 24-hour
mode.

Follow the Before starting steps, under “NORMAL
RECORDING”.
NOTE:

External timer input recording can only be set on the
“EXT” line of the (TIMER SET) menu.

Turn the JOG dial until the “EXT” line is highlighted,
then turn the SHUTTLE ring clockwise.

Turn the JOG dial to select the recording speed
mode (ex: 24), then turn the SHUTTLE ring
clockwise.

Turn the JOG dial to select “Y”.
