Install the battery pack and card
The card can be used after it has been formatted with the camera (see page
151).
Make sure that the battery pack polarity ((+) and (–)) and the card orientation
are correct.

Insert the battery pack.

Insert the card.
œ Take special care to orient the card correctly when inserting it.
Attempting to insert the card incorrectly may result in damage.

To remove the battery pack...

Insert the battery pack.
Open battery compartment
cover on the camera bottom.

3 To remove the card...
Contact end

Close the battery compartment
cover. Do not attempt to forcibly remove
the card.
Insert all the way until it clicks. Open battery compartment cover
on the camera bottom.
