4.3.1 Calender
The calendar in Organizer Link 4 resembles the one in your SHARP Organizer. Hence, once you have
moved to the ‘Calendar’ application, it always displays the last view selected.
The following views are available which you can select either via the toolbar or via the ‘Calendar’
menu (only available in this application):
Month view
Week view
Day view
Appointments view
To Do list
Year view
Month, week and day view
The views enable you to manage your appointments, To Dos and anniversaries clearly.
Appointments are marked with their start time, To Dos with a ‘T’ and anniversaries with an
‘A’ in order to distinguish them easily.
You can navigate within the individual views with the following buttons:
Depending on the view selected, moves forward or back one day, one week
or one month.
Goes to today’s date.
Use this navigation aid to move to a specific date. Select this with a double click.
Note:
The today’s date used is the date set in Window 95/98 or NT/2000.
As in the list field of the usual views, individual entries can be selected with a mouse click or edited
via the corresponding editor with a double mouse click. For a new entry in the calendar, select a
different appointment, a different To Do item or a different anniversary and select the icon
in
the toolbar. An appropriate editor is opened according to the entry type selected. If nothing is
selected, the editor for appointment entry is opened. The advantage of opening the editor in this
way (with corresponding ‘Settings’) is that date from which the editor was opened is transferred.
More details on possible ‘Settings’ for the calendar functions can be found in the online help.
