MPEG-4

The MPEG (Moving Picture Experts Group) 4 standard was
designed to reproduce a wide range of moving pictures from
those on a low speed communication line to those with high-
definition TV picture quality. Also available is SANYO's
proprietary format, the MPEG-4+ mode, which requires less
resources. It is more advantageous in networks, enabling
smooth video reproduction with a special playback operation.
