Accessing Drive Information
There are several ways to access detailed library information, including checking the
statistics and information located on:
• The Drive Information screens
• The ECC screens.
Drive Information Screens
The Drive Information screens show configuration, operation, and error information
for each drive. Highlighted drive buttons on the main screen represent installed drives.
Touch the drive button for the drive that you want to know more about.
First Screen: The Drive Info Screen
After touching the drive button, the Drive Info screen appears (Figure 6-2).
SCSI ID / Bus The SCSI ID and the SCSI bus where the drive is connected.
Manuf The drive manufacturer.
Model The drive model.
Rev The drive’s firmware version.
Loaded Whether the drive is loaded with a tape.
W/P Whether the tape is write-protected.
Read Error Rate / Write Error Rate The read/write error statistics for that drive.
