NOTES:

If you press

NAVIGATION

while Video Navigation is deactivated, “NAVIGATION: OFF” appears (with “SUPERIMPOSE” set to

“ON”:

pg. 56).

Video Navigation playback is possible only with the tape recorded on this VCR.

To record the date and time as the program title in this VCR's memory, make sure the VCR’s clock is set correctly before recording.

To record the program information in this VCR’s memory, you must record each program for over the minimum recording time; 5
min for the D-VHS (HS) mode, 10 min for the D-VHS (STD) mode, 30 min for the D-VHS (LS3) mode, 5 min for the S-VHS/VHS
(SP) mode and 15 min for S-VHS/VHS (EP) mode.

Video Navigation may not work properly for some tapes.

If the VCR finds two tape numbers in one tape while playing back or searching for the beginning of a program, the tape will be
assigned just one number (smaller number) when you remove the tape.

The program information is stored in this VCR’s memory. Should the memory in this VCR be damaged and the program information
be lost, it is impossible to restore that information.

After recording a tape on this VCR, write the tape number on a label and affix the label to the tape in order to allow you to find the
tape by its number.
