Manufacturer codes for STBs
Examples:
For an Amstrad STB: Press [0], then [3].
For a Triax STB: Press [3], then [0].
When the manufacturer of your STB has 2 or more
codes, select the manufacturer codes in turn and
find the one that operates the STB and the remote
control properly.

Release [VCR/STB F].
NOTE
• Manufacturer codes are subject to change with-
out notice. You may not be able to operate the
VCR/STB produced by the manufacturer.
• After replacing the batteries of the remote con-
trol, set the manufacturer code again.
Before the VCR/STB operation, select the remote
control mode for the VCR/STB.

Slide the remote control
mode selector to [VCR/
STB].

Press [VCR] or [STB].
Operate the remote control by pointing it at the
VCR/STB.

¡ Fast-forwards the tape.
