Edit From A
Camcorder
You can use a camcorder as the source player and your
recorder as the recorder.
A
Make connections.
Connect the camcorder’s AUDIO/VIDEO OUT
connectors to the recorder’s L-1 IN/OUT connector via a
cable adapter.

Set the recorder’s input mode.
Press AUX (NUMBER key “0”) and/or PR on the remote
control to select “L-1”. You can select the input mode
also by pressing

[PR], and then
5
[PR+] or
3
[PR–] on the recorder. See step 2 in “Basic Recording”
(

pg. 16).

Set the edit mode.
See “PICTURE CONTROL” on page 27.
D
Start the camcorder.
Engage the Play mode of the camcorder.
E
Start the recorder.
Engage the Record mode of the recorder.
NOTES:
● All necessary cables can be obtained from your dealer.
● When you select “EDIT” to dub tapes in step 3, be sure to
select “AUTO” (or “NORM” when “B.E.S.T.” is set to “OFF”)
after you finish dubbing the tapes.
