send messages
The Push to Send Messages feature
lets you send short text messages through
Private calls.
Note: Availability of this feature is dependent
on your service provider.
When you send a message, it appears on the
display of the phone you are engaged in the
Private call with.
begin a message and choose a
recipient
You can begin a message during a Private call,
from the Contacts list, the Recent Calls list, or from
the PT Manager.
begin a message during a Private call
While in a Private call, press / >
Use PTT Feature > Send Message.
Note: The first time you send a message,
Messaging Fees May Apply Continue? appears and you
are prompted to respond. Press
K under Yes
to acknowledge the message.
begin a message from the Contacts or
the Recent Calls list

From the Contacts or the Recent Calls list,
select the entry containing the Private ID
you want to send the message to.

Press / > Use PTT Feature > Send Message.
begin a message from the PT Manager
The PT Manager lets you select the Private ID
you want to send the message to from Contacts
or the Recent Calls list.
Find it: / >
N
> Send Contact > Browse
Then select Contacts or Recent Calls to see a list of
entries from the Contacts or the Recent Calls list
that can receive messages.
