If your phone does not seem to work properly,
read this section first. If you still need help,
see page 50.
alarm clock
Question: Do I need to leave my phone
turned on to use the alarm clock?
Answer: Yes. In order for your alarm clock to
function correctly, the phone must be turned
on.
keypad does not respond
Question: My display is dark and the keypad
doesn’t respond. Why not?
Answer: The keypad could be automatically
locked. To check this, unlock your keypad by
pressing M and *.
If you do NOT want this feature enabled on
your phone, press M > Settings > Security > Auto
Key Lock
to disable the auto keypad lock
function or change the timers associated with
it. If you disable this feature, you can still
manually lock and unlock the keypad by
pressing M and *. To illuminate the display,
press M or P.
