emergency calls
Your service provider programs one or more
emergency phone numbers (such as 911) that
you can call under any circumstances, even
when your phone is locked or the SIM card is
not inserted. You can dial and call the
emergency number even when your phone is
locked, when you are prompted to enter a
code or password.
Note: Emergency numbers vary by country.
The preprogrammed emergency number(s) in
your phone may not work in all locations.
Sometimes an emergency call cannot be
placed due to network, environmental, or
interference issues.
To call the emergency number at any time:
1
Press the keypad keys to dial the
emergency number.
2
Press N to call the emergency number.
international calls
If your phone service includes
international dialing, press and hold 0

(indicated by +). Then, press the keypad keys
to dial the country code, such as + 44 for
the U.K., + 33 for France, etc., and phone
number.
1-touch dial
To call phonebook entries 1 through 9, press
and hold the 1-touch dial number for one
second.
You can set 1-touch dial to call the entries in
your phone’s memory phonebook, your SIM
card's phonebook, or your Fixed Dial list:
Find it: Press M > Settings > Initial Setup
> 1 Touch Dial > Phone, SIM, or Fixed Dial
