Opening/closing in an emergency
Sliding/pop-up roof
You can open or close the sliding/pop-up
roof manually should an electrical malfunc-
tion occur.
The driving mechanism for the slid-
ing/pop-up roof is located behind the lens
of the interior overhead light.
1 Lens
̈ Pry off lens 1 using a flat blade srew-
driver (
୴ page 344).
̈ Turn the SmartKey in the starter switch
to position 1 or 2.
̈ Remove the crank from the operator’s
manual pouch.
2 Crank
̈ Insert crank 2 through hole.
̈ Turn crank 2 clockwise to:
ț close slide roof
ț raise roof at the rear
̈ Turn crank 2 counterclockwise to:
ț open slide roof
ț lower roof at the rear
The sliding/pop-up roof must be resyn-
chronized after being operated manually
