Check the operation by following either (1) or (2) below. When a popping sound is
heard 1 to 25 times, it is considered that the valve is operating normally. The sound
is clearly heard around the back of the product.
(1) Reset the power supply. Check the operation right after this.
(2) Ice making test. Check the operation right after the test is over.

Thermistor Check Procedure
•Thermistor resistance value will vary
with the change of temperature.
•Take the temperature around the
thermistor, and then measure thermistor
resistance using a tester.
The relation between resistance and
temperature is as shown on the left side.

Troubleshooting with self-check
(1)If the self-check indicates the abnor-
mality of thermistor when the power is
turned on, measure the resistance of the
thermistor.
•If there is a short circuit in the thermis-
tor, there may be a defect in the contact
of the connector or the element of the
thermistor.
(2)When the self-check indicates the
abnormality of thermistor a few seconds
after the power is turned on, check the
contact of the connector.
