Draining & Filling the Hydraulic System
To drain the hydraulic system:
1. Remove the drain plug from the bottom of the Blade Shaft housing and the
bottom of the Transaxle.

2. Collect and dispose of the used oil in an environmentally friendly manner.
3. Remove the used oil filter. See Fig. 44.
4. Once drained, reinstall the drain plugs.
5. Pre-fill and install a new oil filter.
CAUTION
To prevent hydraulic pump damage, pre-fill the filter with oil prior to
installing it.
