F IDE Primary Mas ter, S lave / Secondary Master, Slave
The category identifies the ty pes of hard disk from driv e C to F that has been installed in the
computer. There are tw o ty pes: auto type, and manual ty pe. Manual ty pe is user-definable; Auto
ty pe w hich w ill automatically detect HDD type.
Note that the specifications of y our driv e must match w ith the driv e table. The hard disk w ill not work
properly if y ou enter improper information for this category .
If you select User Ty pe, related information w ill be asked to enter to the follow ing items. Enter the
information directly from the keyboard and press . Such information should be prov ided in
the documentation form y our hard disk vendor or the sy stem manufacturer.
8 Capacity : The hard disk size. The unit is Mega By tes.
8 Access Mode: The options are: Auto / Large / LBA / Normal.
8 Cylinder: The cy linder number of hard disk.
8 Head The read / Write head number of hard disk.
8 Precomp The cy liner number at w hich the disk driv er changes the w rite current.
8 Landing Zone The cy linder number that the disk driv er heads(read/w rite) are seated w hen the
disk driv e is parked.
8 SECTORS The sector number of each track define on the hard disk.
If a hard disk has not been installed select NONE and press .
FDrive A / Drive B
The category identifies the ty pes of floppy disk drive A or drive B that has been installed in the
computer.
