Example 3: CS14P or CSN14s
The Magnum CS14Ps fits very well in high temperature locations (control rooms)
experiencing a need to scale its LAN quickly and cost effectively. With its half / full duplex
switching capability on fiber port # 1, the CS14Ps provides a very economical high
bandwidth solution at each -cable user-access point of copper, and also easily solve the
long distance requirement with the fiber port. The ruggedness of the CS14Ps steel case and
the high reliability of the design compliments the temperature controlled packaging to
provide an exceptional Ethernet product.
In this example, the extended temperature rated CS14Ps takes care of the LAN
connectivity requirement in a harsh temperature environment, mounted above the ceiling in
the building. In this location the Data Mining through SAN is required for the equipment
used in the harsh temp and send over to the server. The ongoing demand of growing
network can be easily met by this sleek designed converter Switch. The steel enclosure and
