Basic Operation
During a phone call, the call timer is shown on the display. The base displays the
phone icon when a handset is in use. The cordless handset screen displays LINE IN
USE. when the base (or another handset) is in use.
Making a Call
NOTE: To delete an incorrect character press the erase button on
the base or the cancel/mute button on the handset.
Corded Handset
1. Lift the handset or press the speaker button on the base and wait for a dial tone.
Dial the desired number.

. Dial the number, then lift the handset or press the speaker button on the base.
3. When finished, put the handset back on the cradle to hang up or press the
speaker button on the base.
Cordless Handset
1. Press the or
speaker
button. Wait for a dial tone, then dial the desired number.

button.
3. When finished, press the button, or place the handset in the charge cradle to
hang up.
Receiving a Call
Corded Handset

Adjusting the Receiver or Speaker Volume
During a call:
• Press the + / - vol button to adjust the volume on corded base.
• Press the 5 or 6 button to adjust the volume on cordless handset.
