The buttons on the remote control and the buttons on the television do not work
■ You may have set both key lockout and IR lockout on the television.
To complete a master unlock of the television:

Remove the power cord from the wall outlet.

While pressing and holding the CH , VOL , and MENU buttons on your
television at the same time, plug the power cord back into the wall outlet. Both
the key lockout and IR lockout are turned off.
The LCD TV will not accept the parental control password
To reset the parental control password:

Use the remote control to access the Parental Controls OSD menu. When prompted
for the password, use
0317 .

Set the password using the steps in “Setting a password” on page 39 .
