To adjust the feed motor V-belt tension:
1. Disconnect the saw from the power
source!
2. Remove the side access panel to reveal the
adjustment mechanism.
3. Loosen the jam nut (Figure 30).
4. Raise or lower the adjustment nut to change
the V-belt tension. Note—Raise the adjust-
ment nut to decrease the tension and lower
it to increase the tension.
5. Retighten the jam nut when the V-belt has
been tensioned correctly and re-install the
side access panel.

To adjust the ride height of the fence:
Adjust the setscrew ( Figure 31) to raise and
lower the ride height of the fence. Note—The
fence could scratch the cast iron table surface if
the ride height is set too low.
