[File option] tab
■ Selecting the file option
Specify the file format of the scanned image.
Click to select the file format. You can select either of the following file formats:
• PDF (*.pdf)
• JPEG (*.jpg)
■ [Option] button
This function is used for configuring detailed settings of PDF files. This button is
enabled when "PDF(*.pdf)" is selected from the [File format] drop-down list. Click
[Option] button to display the following window.
ATTENTION
•
The "File format" setting is available only when the Quick Menu is not
used.
•
"JPEG" is not available when "Auto Color Detection" or "B&W" is
selected from the "Color mode" drop-down list on the [Scanning] tab.
In addition, the file format is automatically changed from "JPEG" to
"PDF" when you select "Auto Color Detection" or "B&W."
