Each time you press the “DISP” button, the display
status switches from “Show text

images” to “Show
images only” to “Show text only”.
If you switch the camera off in Manual mode, the display
status will be “Show text only” when you switch the
camera back on.
Use the “
d
” and “
c
” buttons to move to a menu
item and the “
ab
” button to select the setting.
Finally, press the “MENU/EXE” button to return
to the photography screen.

B SELF-TIMER MODE

The self-timer lamp lights for 5 seconds, blinks
for 5 seconds, then takes the picture.
The time remaining until the picture is taken is
counted down on the LCD monitor.

Self-timer mode is cancelled after you take the
picture.

To stop the self-timer, once it has started running,
press the “CANCEL / BACK” button.

Position the AF frame over the subject and
press the shutter button. The camera focuses on
the subject in the frame and self-timer starts to
run.

You can also use AF/AE lock in this mode (

Be careful not to stand in front of the camera when
you press the shutter button since this can cause
focusing or light metering errors.
