• Fit the other washer and then the lock nut on the end of
the bolt.

• From the inside of the assembly, insert four #8 x 3 /
4

screws through the holes in the floorboard and into the
vehicle body.
• Tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver.
Do not over-tighten.

Assembly
• Position the floorboard so that the smooth side is
facing up.
• Fit the ends of the floorboard up through the opening in
the vehicle body floor, as shown.

• Using pliers, hold one end of the bolt steady and tighten
the lock nut on the end of the bolt. Do not over-tighten.
Be sure the threads on the bolt are flush with the side of
the lock nut.
Hint: You may want the help of another adult to hold
one of the pliers while you tighten the lock nut with the
other pliers.
