• The battery compartment is locat-
ed under the hood of your vehi-
cle.
• Place both Power Wheels ® Type H
6 volt batteries upright in the bat-
tery compartment. Make sure the
bottoms of the 6 volt batteries are
flat on the bottom of the battery
compartment and that the
battery connectors extend toward
the rear of the vehicle.
• Make sure a Power Wheels ® 30
amp fuse in good condition is
installed in each of the 6 volt
batteries and that the battery
connectors are snapped together.

Please Note: It is easier to install the Type H 6 volt batteries before assembling the hood to your
vehicle. If you have already assembled the hood to your vehicle, you may want to remove it
to install the Type H 6 volt batteries.

• Squeeze the tabs on each side of
the motor harness connector.
• Plug the battery connector into
the motor harness connector.
Please Note: If the battery connec-
tor will not plug into the motor
harness connector, turn it over and
try again! Do not force the battery
connector into the motor harness
connector.
