SaleGuard offers several unique Key Performance Indicators to accurately produce exception-based
reports. The following table indicates what the Key Performance Indicators are, and what information
they can provide.

Average Keyed Items Per
Scanned Item
Differentiates between scanned items and items entered manually.
Average Number of
Scanned Items Per Minute
Monitors the number of items charged for per minute.
Average Sales Per Hour
Worked
Monitors the number of sales per hour.
Average Time Between
Scanned Items
Monitors the time spent between scanned items.
Average Time Between
Transactions
Monitors the amount of time between completed transactions. A
transaction is defined as a group of events (Item Sale, Coupon,
Refund, Void, etc.) for one instance with one customer. A grocery
customer purchasing a cart full of produce counts as a single
transaction.
Average Time to Complete
a Transaction
Records the time spent between the first and last item of a
transaction being entered into the POS system.
Average Time to Process
Customer Payment
Monitors the time between the last item entered into the POS
system, and the close of the transaction. This tells you how long it
takes between when the total has been calculated and the payment
has been made.
Cost Per Item
Monitors the average cost per item.
Events Per Day
Monitors the total number of items scanned per day.
Sales Per Transaction
Monitors the total number of items in each transaction.
Store Coupons % of
Transactions
Monitors the percentage of items in a transaction that include
coupon discount.
Total Transactions Per Day Monitors the total number of transactions per day.
Transactions Per Error
Correct
Monitors the number of transactions for each error correction.
Transactions Per Manager
Override
Monitors the number of transactions for each manager override.
Transactions Per No Sale
Monitors the number of transactions for each No Sale.
Transactions Per Refund
Monitors the number of transactions for each refund issued.
Transactions Per Void
Monitors the number of transactions for each voided transaction.
