2 Method of operation and use
The slides of the guide axis support a moving load.
When the load is shifted in the axis direction (x), the slides follow easily.
Extended or additional slides on the guide permit loading with higher torques.
The slides can be prevented from striking hard against the end positions if shock
absorbers or emergency buffers are used.

The FDG is designed for setting up bracket arm systems consisting of a driven linĆ
ear axis and a driveless guide axis in a horizontal position.
