If the medium flow rebounds immediately or takes a long time to push through
the toggle lever, the cushioning has been set too
hard.
If the toggle lever crashes into its end position, the cushioning has been set
too
soft.
Rotate the knurled nut 7 Reaction
ć anti−clockwise Cushioning becomes harder 1)
ć clockwise Cushioning becomes softer
1) If the maximum cushioning point is overrun, the cushioning becomes minimum
and will increase again when the nut is turned anti−clockwise.

S Re−tighten the counterscrew with counter (A).
The tightening torque is:
ć 1.5 Nm (on DFST−50)
ć 2 Nm (on DFST−63/80)
S Complete the test run after all settings have been made.
7 Care and maintenance
Cleaning:
S Exhaust the DFST.
S Clean the DFST only with a soft cloth.
All non−abrasive cleaning agents are
permitted.
After cleaning lubricate the following
components with LUB−KC1:
ć studs aA and
ć piston rod 3
ć toogle lever bolts aB
ć guide rod 7
ć with toggle lever locking mechanism: all bearing locations of the moving
parts.
