FIGURE 1 - Vent Kit
DESCRIPTION
The Generation Structures Vent Kit includes a vent frame,
vent door, and screw hardware necessary to install the
vent kit.
The standard vent kit sizes are 44” W x 8” H, 46” W x 7”
H, and 56” W x 10” H. Refer to Table A for Rough
Opening sizes.
NOTE: The vent hood, vent duct, and insulation barrier
kits are sold separately and not included with
this kit.
When the vent kit is received, check for shipping damage
or missing parts.
Important Installation Tip
The vent layout may permit the knee-brace corner tin to
have a repetitive cut-out pattern for several sheets. If
so, it may be advantageous to the installer to mark the
rough opening by drilling through a specific quantity of
tin while it is still in a stack. This can be accomplished
by marking the four corners of the rough opening cut-out
area and drilling through the stack of tin using a small
diameter drill bit. Single sheets of tin could then be
placed on saw horses and the rough opening cut before
screwing the metal onto the structure.

¼” Drill Bit for starter holes. Automated Tin Nibblers
Screw Bits / Hex Head Bits
