Using
ASSETPRO
Use
ASSETPRO
to track assets (furniture, phones, computers, electronic
equipment, etc.) at various locations (example: departments, rooms,
floors, buildings, etc.). With
ASSETPRO,
enter an identification code
for a location, collect all the asset IDs at the location, and then enter an
identification code for a different location.
To use
ASSETPRO
, complete the following steps:
1.
From the
ASSETPRO
application menu, select
.

The first prompt appears on the screen. Enter the identification
code for the location (example,
WH3E
).
z
Scan a bar code for the location or use the keypad to enter the
location ID.
z
When using a scanner, the code is entered automatically;
when using a keypad, press the
key.

The second prompt now appears on the first line of the screen,
and the location ID appears on the third line.
z
Scan the bar code identifying an asset, or use the keypad to
enter the asset’s ID number or description (for example,
004322
).
