The Auto-Off Feature
The
Auto-Off
feature lets the PT2000 or TopGun conserve power by
partially shutting down when not in use. Pressing the
key returns
the portable to full power. Set the time between the last activity in the
portable and
Auto-Off
from
1
through
99
minutes. The default is
10
minutes. A setting of
00
disables
Auto-Off
.
The PT Dock
The PSC PT Dock™ (refer to
) is specially
designed for use with the PT2000 and TopGun. The dock provides a
connection between the PT2000 or TopGun and the PC without
sacrificing the convenience of portability. To transmit data to or from
the portable, place the unit in the dock. To use the PT2000 or TopGun
for data collection again, remove it from the dock. Or, use the PT Dock
to recharge the portable’s rechargeable NiCd battery pack and backup
lithium battery.
