Unable to
communicate with
printer.
There is no
connection
between the
camera and
printer.
• Check that the printer is
turned on.
• Make sure the cable is
connected between the
printer and the camera
or the optional
HP Photosmart M-series
dock. If that does not
work, turn off the
camera and disconnect
it from the USB cable.
Turn the printer off and
then on again. Re-
connect the camera
and turn it on.
Unable to Print.
Error reading
image file.
The camera or
printer may have
experienced a
transient problem
or the image file
may be corrupt.
• Turn off the camera
and disconnect it. Turn
the printer off and then
on again. Re-connect
the camera and turn it
on.
• If that does not work,
transfer the image file
to your computer and
try printing the image
file from the computer.
No printable
images in
memory.

No printable
images on card.
The camera has
no still images.
Video clips
cannot be printed
directly from the
