The aerial direction and connection
E nsure that the pow er supply is connected to
the TV set
and turned on.
A lso ensure that the
brightness and contrast
are not turned dow n.
Adjust colour control
Adjust channel again
C olour P urity fault
w hich can be caused by m oving the
TV set, placing m agnets near the TV screen or
turning
on/off house hold appliances such as vacuum cleaners
near the TV set. Turn the TV of
f w ith the m ains pow er
sw itch for 15 m inutes. W hen the pow er is turn on again
the TV set
w ill autom atically degauss the picture. In
server cases leave the TV set
turned off over
night.

E lectrical interference w hich can be caused by cars,
m otorbikes etc, Fluorescent
lam ps and dirty
insulators on overhead pow er cables.
This is called ghosting w hich can be m inim ized w ith
an outside aerial,
and good quality cable and
term inations. A ltering the aerial direction can also
m inim ize this effect.

2. The cabinet m ay produce the occasional "snapping sound" This is norm al and caused by the
m aterials in the cabinet expanding w ith room tem perature changes.
