SERVICING YOUR GENERATOR
AIR CLEANER SERVICE

FOAM AIR FILTER
Remove the foam air filter from the air cleaner cover.
Loosen the cover screws and remove the air cleaner cover.
Operating the engine without an air filter or with a damaged air filter
will allow dirt to enter the engine, causing rapid engine wear. This type
of damage is not covered by the
Distributor’s Limited Warranty.
Reinstall the air cleaner cover.
Reinstall the foam air filter in the air cleaner cover.
Check the foam air filter to be sure it is clean and in good condition.
If the foam air filter is dirty, clean it as described on page
Replace the foam air filter if it is damaged.
