OPERATION
FAST IDLE LEVER
TAKING CARE OF
UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS,
Before getting under way, allow
the engine to warm up sufficiently
to ensure good performance.
Above 41°F (5°C), warm up the
engine for 2 or 3 minutes.
Below 41°F (5°C), warm up the
engine for at least 10 minutes at
2,000 rpm.
If the choke and fast idle lever was
used to start the engine, gradually
lower the lever as the engine
warms up.
When the choke and fast idle lever
is fully lowered, the control lever
can be moved away from the N
(neutral) position.
