TAKING CARE OF
UNEXPECTED PROBLEMS,
When the engine control system
detects a PGM-FI malfunction, the
PGM-FI indicator turns on and the
buzzer sounds at one-second
intervals.
Under normal conditions, when the
ignition key is turned on the
following will occur:
Both the PGM-FI indicator and
ACG indicator will turn on.
The buzzer will beep twice.
The PGM-FI indicator will turn
off shortly after the second beep.
The ACG indicator will turn off
after the engine starts.
When the oil pressure indicator is lit,
oil pressure is OK.
If oil pressure becomes low, the
indicator will go off, and the engine
protection system will limit engine
speed. Refer to
on p.
.
All models are equipped with a
buzzer that sounds continuously
when the oil pressure indicator goes
off.
Low oil pressure indicates that the
engine oil level is low or that there is
a problem with the engine lubrication
system.
