WARNING: Stop engine. Make sure deck clutch switch is in the down (OFF) position. Remove
ignition key. Place control levers in the brake position before leaving machine.
2. Park the unit on a flat surface.
3. Raise deck and place 3" tall spacer blocks under the edge of the deck - two in front on
each side and two in back on each side. (FIG. 28). Remove the height adjusting stop
and let the deck down so it rests on the 3" spacer blocks. Make sure the deck is
setting on all four blocks. Leave the height adjusting stop out of the square adjusting
bar for now. The deck should be leveled before the height is set. (FIG. 29)
4. Loosen the two nuts that hold the deck adjusting bar in position. (FIG. 30)
