ƒ User Name: Specify the user name which is provided by your ISP.
ƒ Password: Specify the password which is provided by your ISP, and then verify it
once again in the next field.
ƒ Click on the Next button to continue.
ƒ The WAN configuration is complete. Click on the Connect button to connect to the
Internet.
3.1.4 L2TP (Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol)
ƒ The WAN interface can be configured as L2TP. L2TP (Layer Two Tunneling Protocol)
uses a virtual private network to connect to your ISP. This method of connection
requires you to enter a user name and password (provided by your Internet Service
Provider) to gain access to the Internet. The supported authentication protocols are
PAP and CHAP.
ƒ Select
the Username / Password Connection (L2TP) radio button and then click on
the Next button.
