Focus Mode
■ MF Assist
The
c MF ASSIST option in the setup menu can be used to check focus when pictures are framed in
the LCD monitor or electronic viewfi nder in manual focus mode.
R The c MF ASSIST menu can be displayed by pressing and holding the FOCUS ASSIST button.
The following options are available:
• FOCUS PEAK HIGHLIGHT: Highlights high-contrast outlines. Rotate the focus ring until
the subject is highlighted.
• DIGITAL SPLIT IMAGE: Displays a split, black-and-white image in the center of the
frame. Frame the subject in the split-image area and rotate the focus ring until
the three parts of the split image are correctly aligned.
The Dual Display The Dual Display
In manual focus mode, you can use the DISP/BACK button to select a dual display, with a main
display area on the left that shows the entire frame and a smaller display area on the right
that shows a magnifi ed view of the current focus area. Entire frame
