Installation 2013 Explorer:
This siren speaker will mount to three existing holes in the front
bumper. There are passenger and driver side brackets available.
Figure 1 shows the three mounting hole locations in the bumper.
The two mounting holes in the top of the bracket (A) and he third
mounting hole in the bottom of the bracket (B).
1. Following manufacturers instructions, remove the front facia
of the vehicle to access the bumper.
2. The SA315 comes with two bolts holding the speaker
together. these bolts will need to be replaced with the
supplied fan head screws for this installation (See below).
Mount the siren speaker to the speaker mounting bracket as
shown in figure 2.
3. Secure the speaker bracket (with speaker) to the bumper
with the supplied mounting hardware (Fig. 3).
4. Extend the WHITE (positive) and BLACK (negative) speaker
wires to your siren amplifier and connect them as shown in
the amplifiers instructions.
5. Remount the front facia of the vehicle to complete the
installation.
IMPORTANT! It is the responsibility of the installation
technician to make sure that the installation and operation of
this product will not interfere with or compromise the
operation or efficiency of any vehicle equipment!
IMPORTANT! Before returning the vehicle to active service,
visually confirm the proper operation of this product, as well
as all vehicle components/equipment.
