BACK OF BUMPER

Installation 2013 Ford Fusion:

1.

Remove the front fascia of the vehicle following
manufacturers instructions.

2.

Remove the plastic air dam from the bumper (Fig. 1).

3.

Place the speaker mounting bracket onto mounting location
on the bottom of bumper (Fig. 2).

4.

With the edge of
the siren speaker
mounting bracket
3/4 inches away
from the bumper
bracket (Fig. 2)
mark the location
of the speaker
bracket mounting
holes onto the
surface of the
bumper.

5.

Remove the bracket and drill the mounting holes.

6.

Secure the SA315 to the siren speaker bracket (Fig. 3).

IMPORTANT: The SA315 siren speaker is shipped with two
1/4-20 X 1-1/4" Hex Head Bolts which hold the speaker
together. Replace the bolt toward the top of the speaker with
a longer 1/4 - 20 X
1-1/2 Hex Head
Bolt (Supplied).
One of the shorter
bolts must be used
in the bottom hole
that does not go
through the
bracket so it will
properly secure
the driver to the
housing. If you
need to remove all
4 bolts at once,
make sure to hold
the driver securely
in place.

IMPORTANT: For drainage purposes, the speaker must be
oriented so that the wire passage hole is in the “6 o’clock”

position (closest to the road). This hole also serves as the
drain hole for the siren. Improper mounting will result in
premature driver failure and void the product warranty.

7.

Secure the speaker bracket (with siren speaker) to the
vehicle using the supplied hardware (Fig. 3).

8.

Extend the speaker wires to your power source then replace
the air dam removed in step 2. You will need to trim some of
the air dam to fit it back in with the speaker installed (Fig. 4).

9.

With the air dam reinstalled, reinstall the vehicles front fascia
removed in step 1 and the installation is finished.

IMPORTANT: It is the responsibility of the installation
technician to make sure that the installation and operation of
this product will not interfere with or compromise the
operation or efficiency of any vehicle equipment! Before
returning the vehicle to active service, visually confirm the
proper operation of this product, as well as all vehicle
components/equipment.
