Installation / 2014 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide:
This bracket will install onto the signal lamp assembly on either side
of the motorcycle. This manual shows the road side for example.
1. Remove the bolt and related hardware that secures the
signal lamp assembly (Fig. 1).
2. Secure upper and lower brackets together using the supplied
10 - 24 x 1/2 PHILLIPS PAN HEAD MACHINE SCREW, #10
FLAT WASHER and 10 - 24 ELASTIC STOP NUT.
3. Insert the 5/16 - 18 X 2-3/4 BOLT along with the 5/16 FLAT
WASHER, 5/16 FLAT WASHER, SPACER and SPLIT LOCK
WASHER as shown in figure 2.
4. Apply loctite
to the
threads of
the hex
head bolt
and insert it
into the
signal lamp
assembly
mounting
bolt hole.
5. Be sure the
lighthead bracket faces are aligned to provide light at 45° and
90° angles to the motorcycles center line then tighten the hex
bolt securing the signal lamp assembly and lighthead
brackets.
6. Secure lightheads to lighthead brackets using lighthead
flanges and hardware (Fig. 3). Light heads, flanges and
hardware are customer supplied.
7. Extend the lighthead wires to the power source. For
connection and operation of the light heads refer to the light
head manual. Dress all wires after connections are made.
IMPORTANT! It is the responsibility of the installation
technician to make sure that the installation and operation of
this product will not interfere with or compromise the
operation or efficiency of any vehicle equipment! Before
returning the vehicle to active service, visually confirm the
proper operation of this product, as well as all vehicle
components/equipment.
