Installation:
This bracket mounts to the inside of the trunk lid. With the vehicle
parked on a level surface, open the trunk.
1. Locate the hole in the trunk lid indicated in figure 1. Hold the
bracket onto the mounting surface with the wire hole
centered over this hole.
2. Use a level to make sure the bracket is positioned correctly
and mark the four mounting hole locations onto the mounting
surface.
3. Remove the bracket and drill four pilot holes in the four
locations you marked of in step 2, sized for the supplied 8 X
1/2 Phillips Pan Head Sheet Metal Screws.
4. Mount the light head to the bracket using the supplied 6 - 32
X 1/2 Phillips Pan Head Machine Screws (Fig. 3).
5. Mount the bracket with light head to the vehicle and extend
the wires to your power source. There are several options for
the wire path. It is recommended you follow the factory wire
harness.
