– When using metal cutlery or other

items, avoid damage to the surface
coating in particular.

– If the ingredients are not properly

speared on the hooks, they may drop
into the hot stock. The hot stock might
then splash, leading to scalds.

Edge of grill cover 2
• Pour prepared stock into the edge of grill

cover 2.

• Prepare ingredients for cooking in the

edge of grill cover 2 by cutting them to
the appropriate size:
– dice with edges about 2 cm long;
– strips about 1 cm wide;
– slices about 1 cm thick.
How you cut the individual ingredients to
size depends on the ingredient in
question and on your personal taste. The
pieces should be large enough to be
easy to handle, but small enough to cook
quickly and fit comfortably in the mouth.

• Use ingredients with short cooking times

where possible. Vegetables like broccoli,
mushrooms or bell peppers are
especially suitable for cooking in the
edge of grill cover 2.

• You can also part-cook vegetables in

advance.

• Use teaspoons to remove vegetables and

stock from the edge of the grill cover.

Raclette
• The basic recipe for raclette is a few thin

slices of boiled potato topped with
vegetables, meat or sausage, finished
with a slice of cheese.

• Feel free to experiment with any recipe

ideas you have.

• Season and flavour your dishes to taste.
• The following cheeses are particularly

suitable for raclette: Raclette,
Appenzeller, Emmental and Tilsit.

6. Cleaning

Warning!

To avoid the danger of

an electric shock or damage:
– Remove the plug from the mains

socket before starting to clean
the appliance.

– Never immerse the appliance in

water, and protect it from
splashes and water droplets.

– Before cleaning, allow the

appliance to cool down to avoid
the risk of burns.

Caution!

Never use abrasive, corrosive or

scratching cleaning materials. These might
damage the appliance and the non-stick
coating of grill cover 2 and raclette pans 1.
Note:

Don’t wait too long to wash after

cooling so that the food remains don’t dry
on and become difficult to remove.

6.1 Cleaning the base section

1. Clean base 9 with a damp cloth. A little

washing-up liquid may also be used.

2. Wipe off with fresh water.
3. Do not use the machine again until it is

fully dry.
