Turning the Phone On
The phone is turned ON by pressing and holding
down the Power key until a click is heard.
After the phone has been turned ON, the illumination
of the display and keys comes on. All segments in
the display flash for a few seconds. The PWR (Power)
indicator then remains lit.
SIM not inserted
If your SIM is not already inserted, the message
‘‘INSERT SIM’’ appears in the display.
Should this happen, refer to the chapter Problems
You Can Solve at the end of this manual.
PIN check enabled
If the PIN check is enabled, to protect your SIM, the
question ‘‘PIN?’’ appears.
Enter your PIN on the numeric keys and press the #
(Hash) key.
