Cleaning

TAKE NOTE

Damage to the device!

In order to avoid irreparable damage to it, ensure that no moisture gets
inside when you are cleaning the device.

Cleaning the housing

♦

Clean the oil suction pump after every job is done by pumping a little fresh
oil through it.

♦

Clean the connection terminals after each pumping. Wipe oﬀ any possibly
present battery ﬂ uid on the connection terminals with a dry cloth so as to
protect them from corrosion.

Clean the surfaces of the device and the hoses with a soft, dry cloth.

Maintenance

♦

Before every use, check the device for visible external damage.

♦

Check the cable before each use for damage.

♦

Check the hose clamps

for ﬁ rm seating.

♦

Before every use, check the insulation of the connection terminals

Disposal

Disposal of the device

Do not dispose of this device in your normal domestic waste.

This product is subject to the provisions of European Directive
2012/19/EU WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).

Dispose of the device through an approved disposal centre or at your community

waste facility. Pay heed to the currently applicable regulations. In case of doubt,
please contact your waste disposal centre.

Disposing of used oil

NEVER allow fresh or old oil to ﬂ ow into the ground or the drainage system.
This is illegal! To protect the environment, collect used oil in a suitable container.
Dispose of it at your local collection centre, petrol station or oil dealer.
