Utilização

Ligar o aparelho

Pressione ligeiramente para baixo o cursor de deslocamento

, na parte lateral do aparelho. O aparelho está opera-

cional quando soar um sinal acústico e surgir no visor LC

0,0 psi, 0,00 BAR ou 0 kPa.

Medir a pressão dos pneus

Desloque ligeiramente para baixo o cursor

Insira o sensor de pressão do ar

Posicione a ponta de medição numa ranhura do relevo no
centro da superfície de contacto do pneu (a superfície de
contacto é a área do pneu que está em contacto com o
piso durante o movimento em frente).

Pressione o manómetro na superfície do relevo e de seguida
retire cuidadosamente o aparelho do pneu.

Agora pode ler a altura do relevo em milímetros no visor
LC

. Em alturas de relevo inferiores a 4 mm, o visor LC

funcionamento do aparelho. As crianças devem ser vigia-
das para assegurar que não brincam com o aparelho. O

metalle sind wie folgt: Cd = Cadmium, Hg= Quecksilber, Pb =
Blei. Geben Sie deshalb verbrauchte Batterien bei einer kommu-
nalen Sammelstelle ab.

Platzieren Sie die Messspitze in einer Profil-Rille in der Mitte
des Reifenprofils der Lauffläche (die Lauffläche ist der Bereich
des Reifens, der beim Geradeausfahren Bodenkontakt hat).

Drücken Sie den Reifen-Luftdruckprüfer auf die Profilober-
fläche und entfernen Sie das Gerät anschließend vorsichtig
vom Reifen.

Sie können jetzt die Profiltiefe in Millimeter vom LC-Display

ablesen. Bei Profiltiefen von weniger als 4 mm blinkt

das LC-Display

, bei Profiltiefen von weniger als 2 mm

ertönt darüber hinaus ein Signalton.

Gerät ausschalten

Wird das Gerät über ca. 35 Sekunden nicht betätigt, schaltet
es sich automatisch aus.

Sie können das Gerät ebenso manuell ausschalten. Schie-
ben Sie dazu den Schalter nach unten und halten Sie ihn
solange in dieser Position, bis das LC-Display

erlischt.

Batterie wechseln

Wechseln Sie die Batterie, wenn das Symbol

im LC-Dis-

play

angezeigt wird.

Öffnen Sie das Batteriefach und entnehmen Sie die ver-
brauchte Batterie.

Legen Sie eine neue Batterie (Typ: 3V, CR2032) in das
Batteriefach ein.
Hinweis: Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität.
Diese wird im Batteriefach angezeigt.

Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel

Reinigung und Pflege

Reinigen Sie das Gerät nur äußerlich mit einem weichen
trockenen Tuch.

Verwenden Sie bei stärkeren Verschmutzungen des Geräts
ein leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch.

Verwenden Sie in keinem Fall Flüssigkeiten und keine Reini-
gungsmittel, da diese das Gerät beschädigen.

ten Sie die Batterie von Kindern fern, werfen Sie
sie nicht ins Feuer, schließen Sie sie nicht kurz

und nehmen Sie sie nicht auseinander.

Bei Nichtbeachtung der vorher genannten Hinweise kann
die Batterie über ihre Endspannung hinaus entladen wer-
den. Es besteht dann die Gefahr des Auslaufens. Falls die
Batterie in Ihrem Gerät ausgelaufen sein sollte, entnehmen
Sie diese sofort, um Schäden am Gerät vorzubeugen!

Vermeiden Sie den Kontakt mit Haut, Augen und Schleimhäu-
ten. Bei Kontakt mit Batteriesäure spülen Sie die betroffene
Stelle mit reichlich Wasser ab und / oder suchen Sie einen
Arzt auf!

Bedienung

Gerät einschalten

Drücken Sie den seitlich am Gerät angebrachten Schiebe-
regler

leicht nach unten. Das Gerät ist einsatzbereit,

wenn ein akustisches Signal ertönt und im LC-Display

0,0 psi, 0,00 BAR oder 0 kPa angezeigt wird.

Reifendruck messen

Hinweis: Eine korrekte Messung des Reifendrucks kann nur
bei kalten Reifen erfolgen.

Schieben Sie den seitlich am Gerät angebrachten Regler

so oft leicht nach unten, bis im LC-Display

die gewünschte

Einheit (BAR, psi, kPa) angezeigt wird.

Stecken Sie das Gerät mit dem Luftdruckfühler

so auf

das Reifenventil, das Luft entweichen kann.

Warten Sie einen Augenblick und entfernen Sie dann das
Gerät vom Reifenventil, um den Reifendruck-Messwert vom
LC-Display

abzulesen. Bei weiteren Messungen wird

Einleitung

Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Inbetriebnahme mit

und für die angegebenen Einsatzbereiche. Bewahren Sie diese
Anleitung gut auf. Händigen Sie alle Unterlagen bei Weitergabe
des Gerätes an Dritte ebenfalls mit aus.

tiefe von Pkw-Reifen vorgesehen. Andere Verwendungen oder
Veränderungen des Gerätes gelten als nicht bestimmungsgemäß

des Gerätes nach sich ziehen. Für aus bestimmungswidriger
Verwendung entstandene Schäden übernimmt der Hersteller

Replacing the battery

Open the battery compartment and take out the exhausted
battery.

Insert a new battery (type: 3V, CR2032) into the battery
compartment.
Note: Make sure you fit the battery the right way round
(polarity). The correct polarity is shown inside the battery
compartment.

Close the battery compartment cover

Cleaning and Care

Clean only the outside of the device with a soft, dry cloth.

Use a slightly dampened cloth to remove more stubborn dirt.

Do not under any circumstances use liquids or cleaning

agents, as they will damage the device.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable

materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of
how to dispose of your worn-out product.

To help protect the environment, please dispose of
the product properly when it has reached the end
of its useful life and not in the household waste.

Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Upon contact with battery acid, rinse the affected area
with lots of water and / or consult a doctor!

Measuring the Tyre Pressure

Note: The tyre pressure can only be correctly determined on
cold tyres.

Lightly push the slider

downwards several times to

switch between the air pressure measuring units “BAR”,
“psi” and “kPa”.

Place the tyre gauge with the support onto the tyre valve

so that air can escape from the valve.

Wait for a short period and then remove the tyre gauge to
read off the measurement. On a subsequent remeasure-
ment the measured value is updated.

Measuring the Tread Depth

Push the slider

all the way to the top so that the

measuring tine is visible. The prompt “mm” appears in the
LC-display

Place the measuring tine into a tread groove in the middle
of the tyre imprint (The imprint is the area of the tyre that
touches the ground when driving straight ahead).

Press the tyre gauge onto the the upper surface of the tyre
and then carefully remove the appliance from the tyre.

Read off the tread depth in millimeter from the LC-display

The indicator blinks on tread depth readings less of 4 mm.
The indicator blinks and alarm sound on tread depth read-
ing of 2 mm or less.

Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the device.

Do not expose the product to

- extreme temperatures,
- strong vibrations,
- heavy mechanical loads,
- direct sunlight.

These can otherwise damage the device.

Please note that the guarantee does not cover damage
caused by incorrect handling, non-compliance with the op-
erating instructions or interference with the device by unau-
thorised individuals.

Under no circumstances should you take the device apart.
Improper repairs may place the user in considerable danger.
Repairs should only be carried out by specialist personnel.
