Handling and operation
Inserting the batteries
Slide the on/off switch ♦ 2 to the position "OFF".
Slide the battery compartment cover in the direction of the arrow ♦
and remove it from the appliance.
Insert 4 x 1.5 V batteries of the type AA/LR6/Mignon into the ♦
battery compartment 6 . Pay heed the the polarity markings
given in the battery compartment 6 .
Replace the battery compartment cover and let it fi rmly engage. ♦
NOTICE
If, during use or in standby mode, the red LED ► 3 fl ashes
once every 10 seconds, the batteries are too weak and must
be replaced.
