Step 1: Charging the battery pack

Insert the battery pack into
the battery charger.

Connect the battery charger to
the wall outlet (wall socket).

The CHARGE lamp on the battery
charger will light up in orange and
charging will start.

• How to connect the battery

charger may differ depending
on the country/region.

CHARGE lamp (orange)
Lit: Charging
Off: Charging finished
Flashing: Charging error or
charging paused temporarily
because the camera is not within
the proper temperature range

With the battery charger that
can be connected to the wall
outlet (wall socket) directly
