• Do not work the unit so hard that it

comes to a standstill.

• Pay attention to the instructions on unit

maintenance and cleaning.

Use as a grass trimmer

• Grass is best cut when dry and not too

long.

• The telescopic shaft makes it easier to

work with the grass trimmer:

Push the equipment slowly over the

ground on the rollers. This will give an

even cutting height.

Adjusting the height of the telesco-

pic shaft:

• Adjust the length of the telescopic shaft

to your body height using the height-

adjustment screw (17).

Adjusting the working angle:

For a comfortable edge cut, the equipment

holder (19) can be rotated by 90° to the

right or left on the telescopic shaft rotary

joint (18).

• Set the desired working angle by turn-

ing the telescopic shaft equipment

holder (19). The holder clicks into the

desired position.

Use as a hedge trimmer

Do not use the shrub cutter

in combination with the tel-

escopic shaft. There is a risk

of cut wounds.

• Move the unit forward evenly.

• The double-sided cutting heads enable

cutting in both directions or by swing-

ing the unit from side to side.

Maintenance and

Cleaning

Leave any work not covered

in this manual to our Service

Centre. Only use original

parts. There is a risk of in-

jury!

Never use cleaning agents or sol-

vents, which can cause irreparable

damage to the unit. Chemicals can

attack the plastic components on

the unit.

Wear gloves when handling the

blades (

9/11). There is a risk of

injury from cuts!

Clean and service the unit regularly as fol-

lows. This guarantees a long life for your

unit:

• Check the covers and guards for dam-

age and correct position. If necessary,

replace.

• Keep the ventilation slits, motor hous-

ing and handles on the equipment

clean. To do this, use a damp cloth or

brush.

• Always keep the blade clean.

After using the equipment, it is impera-

tive to:

- Clean the blade

(with an oily cloth);

- Oil the blade shaft

with an oil can or

spray.

• Slight notches on the blades can be

evened out. For this, sand down the

blades with an oil stone. Only sharp

blades can cut properly.

• Blunt, bent or damaged blades must

be changed.
